This company is dysfunctional with awful customer service

My mother had the system and then she passed away. They owe us $200 for the unused service. Can not get a call back from management to figure out how to get the refund. Have called 50 times with no success. They dont pick up nor do they call you back. Customer advice Can not Figure out howTo solve the problem.

Medical Guardian is a terrible company, with very poor service, Their devices are inferior to Life Alert and even Apple Watch Save yourself grief and buy an Apple watch series 7 instead. The Apple watch does not require you to push a button if you fall and need help.

Neither does Life Alert. Those are set up to automatically detect a fall and will send emergency services if you do not respond.

My sister had Medical Guardian but died from a fall at her home. She did not have the chance to push a button, and her body could have been lying in front of her home for days if an Amazon driver hadn't spotted her body and called 9-1-1.

Lost my device

I lost my medical alert device and there is no way to get a hold of whoever found it you have no customer service open on weekends

Medical Guardian - Took extra money from my bank account
I renewed my annual subscription, $383.40 and paid from my bank account. They took that money and decided to take another $383.40 with no explanation. I provided evidence but according to them my bank made mistake Angry They stopped responding to my emails and every time I called them, it's always, your refund check is in the mail

User's recommendation: Think twice before you pay any company from your bank account. You will only get your money back using credit card.

Refused to give refund to me

I paid their annual service fee $380 from my bank account. They decided to take another $380 from my bank without explaining. I notified them by email about this. Their response to me, your refund check is in the mail. No check, no response to my emails, and no response from customer service.

User's recommendation: Use credit card if possible.Check bank statements frequently!
